Job Description Description Conduct routine check-ups on farm animals to monitor their health and diagnose illnesses.Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases in livestock.Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as necessary.Advise farm staff on animal nutrition, general care, and breeding strategies.Ensure compliance with animal health regulations and maintain records of treatments.Collaborate in managing biosecurity measures within the agricultural environment.Respond to emergencies and provide care for injured or sick animals on the farm. Requirements Educational Qualifications: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; current veterinary license.Experience Level: 1-3 years of clinical experience in a veterinary practice.Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in diagnostic equipment, surgical procedures, and ensuring animal welfare; strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and staff.Responsibilities and Duties: Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, perform surgeries, and provide guidance on pet care to owners.Working Conditions: Environment may include exposure to loud noises, odors, and potentially hazardous situations; must be able to work on-call for emergencies.Qualities and Traits: Compassion for animals, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, good manual dexterity, and strong interpersonal skills.
