Directly reporting to Asst. Safety Supervisor/ Safety Supervisor with the consent of Project manager / PIC / Safety Manager. Implement existing EHS House Rules and Regulations, EHS Policies and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all necessary permit are accomplished prior to start of work to avoid any form of work cancellation, stoppage and/or safety violation due to non-compliance to permit system in the absence of Safety Enforcer.Conduct EHS Orientation to newly hired and transferred employees of CGI to ensure all employees understand rules and regulations while inside construction premises, be aware of the possible hazards on site and to comply with DOLE-BWC requirements.Strictly implement EHS House Rules and Regulations and impose sanctions/penalty on violators to achieve Zero Accident Program.Preside in the scheduled meetings for EHS Committee, Emergency Response Team and EHS Coordination meeting in the absence of Safety supervisor.Attend and represent the company on the scheduled meetings and walkthrough in the absence of Asst. Safety Supervisor / Safety Supervisor.Lead in performing inspection such as scaffoldings, fire extinguisher, tools & equipment, harness and other related items which requires weekly and monthly inspection.Implement, monitor and coordinate Waste Management and Housekeeping Programs to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the project sites work areas.Accomplish EHS Daily and Weekly inspection Checklist to ensure all aspect and areas of the worki areas covered by CGI are completely monitored.Accomplish and submit Monthly EHS Report to CGI-EHS Manager every 5th of the month in the absence of Safety Supervisor. The said EHS monthly report should be signed by PM/PIC of the project.Conduct investigation and submit accident/incident report to PM prior to furnishing a copy to EHS Manager and HR Manager. Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma, Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
At least 2 to 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1 to 4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
Preferably with COSH Training
