Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner for our development team in creating software solutions that meet our clients' needs. The Product Owner is the Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team by ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.
As a member of the extended Product Management function, the Product Owner is the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to business and technology strategy. This enables the team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the Solution.
Key Responsibilities Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirementsDefining the vision for the team's productCreating a product road map based on this visionManaging the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirementsOverseeing all stages of product creation including design and developmentMonitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the processLiaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updatesParticipating in Scrum meetings and product sprintsMinimum Qualifications In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development MethodologyWorking knowledge of product development architectureProficiency in the use of analytic toolsAbility to prioritize effectivelyExcellent knowledge of user-centered design principlesExcellent oral and written communicationAbility to work with large teamsUnderstanding of design quality standardsPreferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product managementHands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycleTechnical background with knowledge of software development and web technologiesTeam spirit and good communication abilitiesGood organizational skillsBSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
