Details of the offer

· Oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
· Maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.
· Should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends.
· Should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.
· Responsible for the preparation and process of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Role and Responsibilities
· Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
· Prepares Submittals Approval for different Project Sites.
· Accredit Suppliers
· Schedules Suppliers Store/Plant visits and conducts competitor survey.
· Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
· Coordinates with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for project assigned.
· Review of Bill of Materials vs. the actual material request.
· Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts of materials purchased.
· Prepares Cost Comparison & Canvassed materials for quotations.
· Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on time deliveries and best price offer.
· Monitors delivery
· Negotiate with suppliers for the best purchasing package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services with suppliers.
· Prepare counter receipt for submission to accounting.
· Plans and manage inventory levels of materials or products.
· Source for new parts, suppliers, when the need arises.
· Meet with staff and management to help them determine their purchasing needs
· Study catalogues and trade journals to see what local and overseas sellers are offering
· Advise staff and management on contracts with suppliers' disposal of unnecessary equipment.
· Monitor Project Status and needs.
· Performed tasked that maybe assigned from time to time.
Other tasks:
· Pickup items from supplier if items are urgently needed.
· Deliver items/material to project site/client.
· Attends Pre-bid Conference.
· Attends Bidding
· Sometimes in-charged and follow up of collections for a certain project.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree holder
· Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Presentation skills
· Client relationships
· Motivation for sales
