Filinvest Hotel: QUEST HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER CEBU Key Responsibilities: Assist in the procurement process by sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to meet the hotel's requirements. Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budget constraints. Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing information. Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Coordinate with various departments within the hotel to understand their needs and ensure these are met through appropriate procurement strategies. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages and overstock situations. Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier options. Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, such as discrepancies in quantity or quality, and ensure satisfactory resolution. Support the Purchasing Manager in preparing reports and analyzing data to identify areas for cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems is a plus. High level of integrity and professionalism.
