The Opportunity (In Office and Must Work in Eastern Time Zone Hours) We are looking for an Operations Manager who thrives on building high-performing teams and creating structure in fast-paced environments. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will oversee a growing operations unit that is a key strategic function within Carbon6, which is expected to double in size over the next year. This role goes beyond managing daily operations—you'll have the opportunity to build something from the ground up. You'll define KPIs, streamline processes, and design the framework for success that drives operational excellence across the business. Your leadership will be key in mentoring team leads, developing career paths, and empowering your team to meet ambitious goals. Refine processes for unparalleled results, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.People Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to design career pathing and professional development frameworks for your team. You'll ensure that the growing team of operations professionals has clear opportunities for advancement and skill-building, empowering them to take on more responsibility and contribute to long-term business success.Client Relationship Strategist: Enhance the relationship between operational teams and client-facing teams, ensuring seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure that client needs are met while maintaining operational excellence.Operational Framework Developer: Lay down the foundation for scalable operations by creating and refining KPIs to measure productivity and efficiency. You'll ensure that systems and processes evolve alongside the team, building a stable operational framework that allows the team to meet and exceed business goals as it grows.Operational Excellence Advocate: Transform the way we operate by driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational stability. You will analyze data to identify gaps and create solutions that streamline workflows and increase efficiency across business units.Research & Development: Work closely with product development teams to identify and capitalize on new opportunities, particularly in relation to Amazon Vendor Central, driving both operational improvements and business growth.BONUS - Amazon Vendor Central Experience: Employ your expertise in Amazon deductions/ e-commerce fee recovery operations to strategically position our business, leveraging the platform for optimal impact in the digital marketplace. Your QualificationsProven Experience: 4-8 years of experience managing geographically dispersed teams, with a proven ability to mentor and lead others. You're a people-first leader who understands how to drive collective success, especially in high-growth environments.Agile and Adaptable: You thrive in environments of rapid change and are comfortable pivoting to meet evolving business needs. Your ability to remain focused on strategic goals while leading your team through transitions will be critical.Data Analysis Expert: Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft Applications, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that improve processes and productivity across teams.Innovative Problem Solver: You have a knack for identifying inefficiencies and creating innovative solutions that enhance overall operational workflows. You leverage insights from market trends to drive innovation in product and service delivery.Exemplary Communication Skills: Articulate communicator capable of translating complex ideas into impactful narratives. You are equally eloquent and comfortable communicating in writing, in person, and when speaking to large groups. You can always lead a discussion to an outcome, no matter how many people and different opinions are in the room.Operational Excellence: Proven track record of managing complex operations, balancing time management, and organizational skills to maintain the highest quality standards across all operational areas.Systems thinking: Ability to compartmentalize and articulate concepts for effective communication with technical teams, making informed decisions aligned with long-term business goals. Skilled in making informed decisions that align with long-term business objectives and account for system impacts.BONUS - Amazon Vendor Central Savvy: Deep knowledge of POR, inbound and inventory policies, and leveraging Amazon Vendor Central for strategic initiatives and business growth. Familiarity with AVS, RBS, SPS, or SWAT is an advantage.
