We are seeking an Assistant Manager in the Sales Department. This is upon the establishment of a local subsidiary in the Philippines for a Japanese logistics company.
Oversee the entire Delivery management section in the Sales department, performing Delivery arrangement, monitoring, and quality assurance of logistics and Distribution especially in the Automobile field, and providing accurate reports to the Japanese director.
Expect a person who will become a Logistics Sales Manager/Department Head and support the company's growth.
1. As the PIC of the Delivery Management Section, to perform the following duties;
Manage delivery operation and arrangement (planning, booking, monitoring and reporting)Research government regulationPropose delivery route, process, method, and quality improvementSurvey to ensure the safety of the delivery route including loading/unloading placesCommunicate and Coordinate between stakeholders such as manufacturer, dealer, transporter, shipping line, insurance company, government authorityNegotiate delivery-related costs and conditionsControl the department's budgetReporting immediately in case of any accidents, damages, or losses of handling goods.Submit several reports for the operation promptly to the company directorsProvide work instructions to newly hired staff and confirm and approve his/her output Work experience or knowledge at an automobile manufacturing companyWork experience at a Japanese companyNegotiation price with the transporter, shipping lines, and any logistics companies that have assetsExperience in dealing with adjuster of insurance companyWorking period at one company for 3 years or more Work experience in the Logistics fieldBasic knowledge of Delivery / Distribution operations and can work smoothly with all stakeholdersManagement experienceA person with sufficient knowledge of government regulation related to the delivery operation Someone who is honest and can provide accurate reportsSomeone who can separate facts from hypotheses, organize information, think logically, and present recommendations and supporting materials for decisionsSomeone who can work with enthusiasm without abandoning tasks midwayAn honest person who can give accurate reportsAbility to distinguish facts and hypotheses, think logically, and can propose materials for decision-makingPerson who is willing to work diligently and does not throw out jobs in the middle

Working days: Monday-Friday
Regular hours: 8:00 - 17:00 (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
For shift work:
Day shift: 9 hours within the time frame of 6:00 - 18:00 (including a 1-hour break)
Night shift: 9 hours within the time frame of 18:00 - 6:00 (including a 1-hour break)
