We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Supervisor to join our fine dining restaurant team. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, and coordinating with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and manage kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
Conduct training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for current staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Operational Management:
Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and report any issues.
Inventory and Cost Control:
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Control food costs and minimize waste.
Track inventory usage and manage stock rotation.
Menu and Quality Control:
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
Ensure consistency and quality of dishes served.
Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks.
Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly.
Qualifications: Education:
Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant.
Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen environment.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of fine dining standards.
Proficient in kitchen equipment and technology.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
