Job Description:
Saphron, a leading financial technology company based in Davao City, is seeking a driven and independent Accountant to join our team. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
