Job Description: Job Summary: The Wine Sales Specialist will be responsible for expanding the company's reach and increasing revenue by developing new business relationships with clients in the wine industry. This individual will develop and execute sales strategies, identify potential clients, and establish long-term partnerships that drive growth and revenue for the company.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for the wine distribution company. Identify potential clients and build relationships with key decision-makers in the wine industry, including wineries, distributors, and retailers. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay current with industry trends. Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's product offerings, pricing, and competitive landscape. Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the wine industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the wine industry, including wine production, distribution, and sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
