We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Administrative Assistant based in the Philippines with Payroll expertise to support remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, payroll processing, and a good understanding of accounting practices. This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate schedules, appointments and coordinating meetings
• Prepare and organize documents, reports and presentations
• Assist in managing email and calendar of Line Manager
• Manage and process payroll for clients
• Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of payroll taxes, including federal, state, and local filings.
• Maintain confidential client information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and documentation as needed.
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience of 2 to 4 years as a Virtual Administrative Assistant or Accounting staff with specific experience in payroll processing for US-based clients.
• Working knowledge of payroll systems and software such as Gusto, ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, Google suite, tasks management tools such as Karbon, Asana, Monday and other relevant software applications.
• Understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
