Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as the marketing project manager. The responsibilities of the marketing project manager include planning marketing campaigns, delegating tasks to project team members to ensure marketing projects are completed on time and within budget. Job Description: • Working with the marketing director to create a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy. • Plan and manage marketing projects, including campaign launches, product promotions, and event planning across all programs. • Developed marketing and promotional calendars for upcoming campaigns and clearly communicate deadlines and project plans to the organization. • Work closely with the creative, media buying, and technology teams to develop and implement campaigns to grow audience and revenue for all business channels. • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. • Coordinate the creation of targeted campaigns using various marketing platforms including targeted and segmented email, social media, and paid-media. • Coordinate the development of written, digital, photographic, and video content associated with marketing campaigns. • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. • Report and escalate issues to management as needed. • Determine effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and activities ensuring proper development, tracking, and evaluation. Perform detailed quantitative analysis on marketing campaigns to judge effectiveness. • Maintain and organize the digital library of marketing files for ease of access by the internal creation/design staffers. • Develop a deep understanding of the conservative political commentary industry, customer persona, overall market messaging strategy, and audience journey.
Requirements
• Ability to take marketing ideas and translate them into an executable plan then implement the plan.
• Ability to come up with marketing ideas that can improve existing campaigns. • 1-3 years of working experience in project management, preferably in the marketing field. • Basic understanding or hands-on experience in digital marketing and web technologies. • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitask
• Experience in SLACk
• Basic understanding in EVERFLOW or Hyros (tool for doing quantitative analysis)
• Knowledge in Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Google Sheets -
