Urgent Hiring: Tax Officer

TAX OFFICER

Responsibilities:
 

? Responsible for the preparation of the calculation worksheets needed for monitoring and computing the monthly and quarterly tax due for Income Tax, Value Added Tax, and Fringe Benefit tax for review and approval as well as the corresponding filing of the returns

? Responsible for compiling and initial review of the relevant invoices and official receipts in line with the company?s VAT refund claim to ensure timely submission of the claims

? Assist external auditors during local statutory audit of financial statements in preparing the tax-related disclosures as required by the BIR as well as

assist the team in the event of a BIR/LGU audit? Serve as liaison officer to different government agencies, as necessary

? Manage the safekeeping and filing of all relevant government and internal documentation for the site

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:
 

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferably with CPA License

? Preferably with experience handling taxation of BPO companies.

? Has experience with BIR RDO?s and PEZA.

? Has knowledge with BIR invoicing requirements and VAT refund process

? Knowledgeable in SAP

? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

? Must be detail oriented and good organizational skill
