Trade Marketing Assistant (Merchandisers & Promotions) supports the trade marketing team in executing initiatives
to influence purchase decisions by showcasing products in an appealing and strategic manner, training
merchandisers on product knowledge, drive sales through well-executed strategies and represent brands via proper
promotions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns and promotions to enhance sales
performance.
• Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on marketing strategies.
• Provide training to third-party agencies on fundamental product knowledge.
• Foster and maintain relationships with retail partners and sales teams to improve product visibility and
collaboration.
• Assist in tracking and reporting the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, recommending adjustments as
necessary.
• Support the tracking and management of the budget for trade marketing activities.
• Execute administrative tasks associated with trade marketing, including processing marketing claims.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in analyzing data, trends, and market insights to inform decision-making.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Capable of working effectively within a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in measuring and analyzing key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
• Experience in the FMCG/Retail sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Flexible and willing to work onsite and adapt to a shifting schedule.
