Job Description
Supports the management of the ABC Refinery, Transamine Offtake agreements and BSP Purchase Agreement including port operation activity.Analyzes sales data of Copper Concentrate in Mineman in accordance with the recent values related to a certain shipment.Process applicable invoices for permitting and sales.Preparation of journals in Pronto to ensure 100% completeness of recording of sales transactions.Communicates Dore and Copper concentrate buyers on documentary requirements, permitting, sales and sales-costs related collections and payment arrangements.Analyzes reports related to Dore and Copper concentrates for audits, internal and external reporting to regulators and stakeholders.Analizes sales and sales-costs related accruals including revaluation of unfinalized shipments.Prepares monthly reports providing price/volume variance analysis.Prepares Dore and concentrate sales related schedules and reports.Review forward estimates and assist with forecasting.Gathering, collating, analysing, and interpreting market data specific to the Copper, Dore market and related industry to gain knowledge on trading opportunities.Attending relevant conferences and industry events.Reviews accuracy and completeness of billings and payments related to Sales and Marketing and provides instructions for correction.Investigates discrepancies related to Sales and Marketing payables and receivables and coordinates with all concerned stakeholders to resolve the issue.Prepares reconciliation schedules for sales and sales cost.Prepares periodic sales and sales cost reports
Qualifications
Bachelor level Commercial related tertiary qualification (Accounting, Commerce, Economics or similar field)5+years' experience in Sales and Marketing (Precious and Base Metals) roles in Mining IndustriesPrevious experience working in a developing country, coaching, and managing a team highly advantageous.Exposure in commodity exchange (COMEX) rulesExposure in commodity marketingKnowledgeable of and experience in shipping precious and base metals and mineralsExperience in company ERP systems (Pronto, COGNOS, OneStream, Mineman or equivalent)
