• 10 years experience in solid background with C&B
Position Description:
C&B professional based out of Manila, Philippines with 10+ years of experience in managing core Compensation and Benefit activities and reports to the Regional Head.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Compensation including Variable/Ownership Plans
o Partner with the local HR to ensure the employee data is accurate and free from any error for implementation during annual merit increment cycle, mid-year promotion increment and while providing Total Compensation (TC) recommendations on Retention Bonus, adhoc etc.
o Laise with HR Business partners in releasing the salary hike letters and to ensure employees have discussions with their managers before the payout
o Has knowledge to prepare, track the Annual merit/compensation review budgets. Report monthly budget utilization, update and reconciliation of salary pay components. Discrepancies if any, to be highlighted with HR Shared Services team & Business partners for rectification etc.
o Work closely with the Talent Planning (Workforce management) to review jobs using the job framework of survey house. Liaise with vendors to share data for benchmarking & additional reports etc.
o Provide consultative support to regional HR Team on special projects, shares expertise and have a good knowledge on the ERP, compensation tools, country best practices, insights on the current compensation trends, variable/performance pay & its philosophy, ownership plans/ESOPs, changes in the legislation, compliance and/or statutory requirements, DOLE & BIR regulation, retiral benefits for locals as well as foreign nationals in PH, knowledge of income tax laws & benefits, provide expertise and manage the PF rule documentation & make changes to the plan design in consultation with the Retirement Committee
o Handle compensation-related queries in a timely manner
o It also includes planning & implementation of strategic tasks pertaining to TC
• Insurance Benefits
o Partner with the Insurance brokers to design policies, manage end to end renewal process, build employee communication strategy, facilitate enrollments and support HR Business partners to drive participations
o Work closely with the regional TC team and coordinate with the Insurance broker and other BAU related to Insurance activity management, including support in empanelment of insurance vendor, coordinate with the internal and external stakeholders to complete necessary documentations as part of the new vendor evaluations like the GDPR
o Review annual renewal & invoices and advise management and accounts payable for funds transfer
o Share quarterly claims utilization summary. Present key metrices and prepare the team for negotiations during the renewal
o Verify/calculate insurance premium deductions as part of the member contribution and advising payroll for the recovery
o Manage employee queries and manage claim utilization end to end with the Insurer and broker
o Has overall understanding of the working conditions and other benefits policy matters.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
o MBA or Postgraduate in Human Resources
o Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word PowerPoint & SharePoint
o Total Compensation Domain Knowledge and Tools
