Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identifying opportunities available by accessing them through client portals and preparing bid-no bid documentation
* Developing the strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) and understanding the clients' specific requirements
* Writing proposals and coordinating input from other specialist staff
* Creating project proposals for government tendering
* Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid; tracking costs and schedules during bid development
* Negotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractors for pricing
* Understand the nature of current and future markets
* Responding to clients' and other stakeholders' queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted
* Development and/or approval of key tender internal coordination deliverable
* Schedule, execution plan, Kick Off meeting slides, etc.
* Development and/or approval of key tender approval deliverables
* Pre and post submission client correspondence.
Qualifications:
* Over one years working on tenders and proposal submissions
* Relevant qualifications with a solid academic track record
* A self-starter who can work independently and also contribute to a team environment
* High level of oral and written communication skills
* Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Association for Proposal Management Professionals accreditation is preferred
* Confidence in dealing with people and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
* A flair for graphic design or artistic input would be desirable but not essential
