Job Summary: As a Technical Sales Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support to our customers, helping them to understand and choose the best hosting solutions for their needs. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and resolve customer technical issues and provide expert-level technical guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities: Provide technical sales support to customers via phone, email, and chat, resolving technical issues and answering questions about our hosting services.Work with the sales team to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, using your technical expertise to help close deals.Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers, showcasing our hosting solutions and features.Collaborate with the support team to resolve complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to customers.Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our hosting products and services, including configuration options, technical specifications, and best practices.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our sales and support processes.Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new products and services, as well as internal processes and procedures.Contribute to the development of sales strategies and campaigns, using your technical expertise to inform marketing initiatives.Collaborate with other teams, such as development and operations, to ensure that our hosting solutions meet customer needs and expectations.Requirements: 4 years of experience in a technical sales or customer support role, preferably in the web hosting industry.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Strong technical knowledge of web hosting concepts, including server configuration, networking protocols, and security measures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical customers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as common web development tools and technologies (e.g., Apache, MySQL, PHP).Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify solutions.Nice-to-Have: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) or programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) or e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento).
