System Administrator

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

 

 

Responsibilities:
Maintain and configure network and system infrastructure

Install, configure, and manage server operating systems and software

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Ensure system security and data backup procedures are in place

Analyze and improve system and network performance

Work with other IT team members and departments to ensure system and network availability and reliability

Maintain documentation and inventory of hardware, software, and system configurations

Provide support and guidance

to end-users as neededRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

2+ years of experience in system administration and network administration

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V

Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching

Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash

Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
