Job Title: Sustainability Officer
Job Summary: Responsible for guiding the bank's efforts to become more
environmentally, socially, and economically responsible. Develop and
implement strategies to minimize the bank's environmental impact, reduce
waste, and promote sustainable practices and has a key role in Business
continuity Management.
B. Duties and responsibilities:
Developing Strategies: Develop and implement sustainability initiatives tailored
to organizational goals.
Policy Development: Create and enforce sustainability policies and procedures.
Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics, and
prepare reports on sustainability progress.
Training and Education: Conducts workshops and training sessions to raise
awareness about sustainability practices among employees.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
and standards and prepare sustainability reports.
Environmental Management: Minimize environmental impact through energy
conservation, waste reduction, and resource management.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated on sustainability trends and
technologies, and incorporate innovative solutions into practices.
Social Responsibility: Foster diversity, equity, and ethical practices within the
organization.
Budget Management: Oversee budgeting for sustainability projects and
initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to
promote sustainability initiatives.

Nature of work: Office works:
Nature of work environment Office: The incumbent is provided with a
computer unit and other office equipment
necessary for the accomplishment of task,
including the following access to internet
connection, printer & scanner, telephone and
other communication lines.
Field: In case of per need / instruction by the
President/CEO.
E. Qualification Standards (minimum requirements for the position):
Requirements Description
Education: Bachelor's degree in sustainability or a related
field, such as environmental science, business, or
a related major like biology or business
administration, along with strong communication
and project management skills.
Work experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience
Training requirements: Obtaining certifications to enhance credentials. Options include:
? LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design)
? ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
? GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) certification
? Global Reporting Initiative) certification
