JOB SUMMARY: The Security and Safety Head is responsible for the overall and effective security and safety oversight across the Filinvest enterprise. The Security and Safety Head formulates and implements policies and procedures and make sure that Filinvest and its immediate environment is safe for all the stakeholders. Along with other pertinent departments, he crafts and executes plans and programs on emergency and crisis preparedness, response and business continuity.
JOB DESCRIPTION: I. Safeguarding of Assets: Coordinate and implement physical site security plans and operations to ensure protection of employees, contractors, clients, assets and infrastructure. Develop an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the organization. Protection responsibilities include workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance and emergency protocols (e.g., disaster recovery, messaging alerts and employee safety verification procedures) Ensure safety and security of our people while enhancing culture of openness and transparency. II. Policy Development, Training and Communication Manage the development and implementation of company-wide security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security, including crisis response scenario planning. Engage in training and certification protocols when necessary to address specified risks Ensure that executives and employees receive regular communications regarding safety issues, threats and developments. III. Law Enforcement and Intelligence Networks Maintain appropriate relationships with law enforcement and other related government agencies, including pertinent intelligence community agencies. IV. Monitoring and Audits Identify and deploy the internal and external tools necessary to identify emerging threats to employees and to business activities. Ensure that the tools deployed include business intelligence and social media monitoring and intelligence collection. Engage in periodic security audits measured against appropriate industry standards V. Investigation Collaborate closely with the other pertinent departments (e.g., Legal, Data Security, Privacy, Corporate Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain management) regarding security threats or breaches.
