Job Description • Directly report to Accounting Manager and responsible for performing month-end closing jobs, accounting and financial recordkeeping activities and related work as required.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in various accounting functions in general.
• Keep financial records and supporting documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Organize the day-to-day activities of general accounting functions, utility billing and control fixed assets inventory of company's property and equipment.
• Bookkeeping.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Prepare financial schedules.
• Prepare income statement and balance sheet.
• Prepare Monthly Business Report and Quarterly Consolidation Package.
• Direct maintenance of records and preparation of trial balance.
• Work with Accounting Manager on improving recordkeeping systems.
• Compilation of financial statements and tax computation.
• Prepare quarterly income tax returns for filing with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Prepare government regulatory reports (monthly, quarterly and annual).
• Process annual business permit.
Qualifications Requirement - Proven experience as an accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- BS Degree in Accounting
- Aptitude for number and quantitative skills
- Relevant certificate (CMA, CPA) will be preferred
