As a Social Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for the application of social regulatory requirements and principles against established standards and protocols. Perform detailed audits to evaluate policies, procedures, and practices related to social compliance. Verify compliance with local and international laws. The position requires strong communication. You will be initiating and conducting on-site audit activities for our clients. You will be responsible for the document review as well as preparing and distributing your audit findings in an audit report.

Tasks and ResponsibilitiesConduct social compliance audits in the Philippines and regionPlanning and preparation of social and textile audit assessments, execution of assessments, and providing a report with findings as to the conformity with the requirementsInitiating the assessment and conducting document reviewPrepare and conduct on-site assessment activities and assessment follow-upPrepare, approve, and distribute the assessment reportAssistance with the handling of claims and appealsCoordinate with the certifier and program managers on a regular basisMonitor and improve the quality of our services for our social compliance auditingSupport with KPI monitoring and provide guidance on improving efficiency of teamAssist in ensuring auditors maintain or obtain needed qualificationsCoordinate with other offices who need qualified auditors from the PhilippinesDevelop new programs and certifications related to socialGrow the business of our social certifications by engaging with clients and prospects and opening new doorsArrange partnerships with government entities to grow our presence and exposureMake strategic plans how we can grow the social and textile business regionallyMaintaining a good relationship with the clients and informing the management of the opportunities & risks in the marketMaintaining up-to-date files of all quality policies, procedures, working instructions, and documentation issued by CUCKeeping abreast of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried outPerform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager.RequirementsGraduate in any relevant course in agri/ fashion/ textile/ recycling/ chemical/ environmental management specializationMust be APSCA Qualified (CSCA) level auditorMinimum work experience of 5 years in conducting social audits (Textile, Food, Packaging and Paper Industries experience will get preference)Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in certifying or auditing for social compliance audits like SMETA, SLCP, SA8000, URSA, ETI, WRAP, Buyer COCIRCA recognized lead auditor course ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 or a recognized course for other certification systems which include 19011 principlesExperience of business development and commercial activitiesStrong technical skills to ensure high quality of service for social & textile auditingExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishOur CompanyWith its foundation in agriculture, Control Union Certifications has focused its efforts in developing services around the sustainability of the industry's supply chains which feed into the food, feed, bioenergy and textiles markets.
