JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform service duties assigned including ad-hoc works. Hands-on duties involve testing and commissioning, service, repair and troubleshoot equipment/system at Xylem Workshop or on sites, for pump systems (booster/transfer/ejector/Divertor/drainage). Proficient on monitoring & control, technical skill, retrofitting, Testing & Commissioning for pumps. Liaise with customers on service activities ensuring all works are carried out on time and to customers' satisfaction. Prepare coherent service reports on condition of equipment, advising on recommendation and follow-up actions. Manage and maintain records of service activities. Lead and coordinate with service technicians on daily service activities and operation. Provide after sales technical support services to help customers to optimize their business with the right solutions. Manage and maintain a high-level long term business relationships with existing customer and develop new business opportunities to expand the aftermarket sales & service in systems maintenance, retrofit, repair and spare parts business. Work closely with Service manager to improve work flows/processes to increase productivity. Play a part in maintaining the workshop in an environmentally safe and organized manner & ensure equipment & tools are well maintained. Actively participate in compliance with QA and ESH requirement to promote a safe working environment. May be requested to work overtime on weekdays, weekends and/or public holidays in order to achieve deliveries to customers. Other duties as required/determined to assist the functionality of the department. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS At least 3-4 years' hands-on experience as a service engineer in related industries/environment. Able to troubleshoot electrical starter & control panel and the ability to read simple electrical & hydraulic schematics drawings. Hands-on experience with service and troubleshoot of Flygt, Lowara and Godwin pumps will be an advantage. Able to lead service technicians to perform duties as required. Customer focus, results orientated, excellent communication and good team player. Self-confident, self-motivated with intrinsic drive to work independently. Able to work overtime on weekdays, weekends and/or public holidays. Enjoy working in fast-paced environment. Able to travel on overseas assignments tasked by the company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
