Key Responsibilities: Perform daily operations of Trade Matching, Settlements and Post settlements, Corporate Actions. Ability to prioritize as necessary
Able to perform Portfolio (Cash and Position) Reconciliations on a daily basis
The candidate is also expected to contribute in the development and enhancement of the team's systems and processes to ensure continual efficiency gains and process improvements
Assist Portfolio Operations Lead in ensuring the associates understand process updates
Specialists should be able to regularly collaborate with Portfolio Operations Lead about process changes that may be of help to improve the efficiency of the group.
Requirements Essential (Must Have) Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial Management,
Economics, Accounting or other related business course
Organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills and able to prioritize activities effectively
Possess intermediate to advance knowledge regarding of investment transactions, Trade lifecycle, various asset classes, Reconciliations
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of financial products including global equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income
Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills
High attention to detail
Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output
Must be highly organized
Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented and a team player with the understanding of how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics
Computer and internet proficient
Desired (Plus but not a requirement) 3 to 5 years experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be an advantage
