Procurement Analytics, Technology, & Strategy Assistant Manager

JOB SUMMARY The Procurement Analytics, Technology, & Strategy Assistant Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate collection and analysis of supply chain data for a consolidated view. They generate historic procurement spend analysis reports to advanced analytics to generate improvement strategies, solutions, budget and other future decisions. They also harvest data from various source systems and ERP and convert them into visualization dashboards.
RESPONSIBILITIES Reports & Analytics: Collect procurement data and other related supply chain information and translate it into a dashboard.Interprets data and creates recommendations and strategies for improvement or to address an existing issue/s.Create various Market studies and Analysis.Create and present periodic reports to the Senior ManagementProcurement: Assist category managers to identify strategies for savings opportunities, vendor management,, identify sourcing potential, address supply risk opportunities, manage sustainability performance, develop supplier relationships and facilitate innovation.Help identify the best times and areas to run sourcing events and requests for proposals.Identify which suppliers to include in sourcing projects and provide rich information into suppliers' quality and risk positions.Provide value across contract lifecycle management.Alert when contracts need to be renegotiated, or provide data for supplier negotiations.Identify maverick spend to help compliance and improve contract coverage.Provide much value in the transactional side of procurement by helping buyers measure purchase order cycles and improve payment terms.Uncover the environmental or social impact of procurement decisions and identify opportunities for more sustainable alternatives.Aid in identifying and mitigating risk within the supply chain and procurement.Help unravel the complex relationships between supply, price, the environment, CSR initiatives, and risk, while identifying opportunities for mitigation.Assist in identifying savings realized, which is directly relevant for profit and loss (P&L) reporting for finance.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalentHas at least three (3) years experience in a similar roleMust be well-equipped in data collection and reports generationMust have first-hand experience in procurement data interpretation, spend and trend analysis, recommendation and strategy formulationAdvanced proficiency in Google Suite.Preferably with experience working in or with Spend Management and Expense Platforms/Tools.Preferably with experience in using Birchstreet System and SAP.
