What it's about You will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timely cost allocation to Partners Group programs and its clients around the globe. In this role you will understand various Fund structures and principles for a portfolio of private market programs and clients over the fund/investment life cycle.
Your tasks include:
• Processing systematic cost allocation from Group entities to Funds (incl. invoicing)
• Defining suitable allocation keys and maintaining detailed cost descriptions
• Monthly reviews of journal entries and accounting reconciliations
• Assisting in proper documentations for the cost allocation process
• Interpreting legal agreements to ensure correct cost allocation to the Funds
• Working closely with the Lead Accountant and team members to further enhance cost allocation tool and identify areas within the process for continuous improvements
• Assisting in internal memos submission to Committees on current topics such as new allocation keys or changes to the overall process
• Working closely with Group Finance team members and other internal stakeholders in wider offices to ensure high data quality (including training, policies update, cost reconciliations)
• Take responsibility in finance and accounting projects as assigned by local management
What we expect • Bachelor's degree or further education in Accounting/Finance
• 6-9 years of relevant financial accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills or other relevant tools to analyze and process large data, with focus on risk analysis and control definition
• Familiarity with funds and investment vehicle structures
• Reliable and trustworthy individual with good analytical skills, ability to pay excellent attention to detail and adhere to strict deadlines
• Self-motivated and proactive individual who is able to thrive with pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills to manage multiple projects into completion
• Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with both internal and external parties
• Experience in a global environment and/or auditing would be a plus
