Senior Collections Officer Innovative Australian SME Fintech Key Responsibilities: Ensure relevant notices are issued to customers in a timely and accurate manner.Ensure email correspondence is handled in a timely, accurate and professional manner.Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, including tracking and monitoring overdue payments.Contact customers by phone, email, and other means to negotiate payment plans and collect outstanding debts.Investigate and resolve any customer disputes or issues related to their account.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activity and communication with customers.Develop and maintain respectful relationships with customers to facilitate the collections process and promote customer retention.Work with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to resolve customer issues and improve the collections process.Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to improve collections performance.Qualifications and Experience: Confident spoken and written English.3+ years collections experience.Good negotiation skills, and ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and professionally.Proficient in using PC and MS Office tools.Experience with SME collections desirable.Understanding of Australian regulatory environment desirable.We're Offering: Competitive salary (depending on experience).Attractive allowances and benefits.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Australian business hours schedule (morning/day shift), Monday to Friday.Please note: This is a full-time onsite role based in Ortigas (location - Robinsons Equitable Tower, ADB Avenue).About Our Client: Our client is an innovative Australian fintech providing business lending services to SME businesses throughout Australia.
