Senior Associate, BPT Infrastructure & Operations (Modern Endpoint Engineer)Job Summary: The Modern Endpoint Engineer is responsible for Modern Endpoint Management, including Windows, iOS, and macOS devices. In this role, you will lead service improvement efforts and interact with our Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver solutions to our users that promote ease of use and productivity while ensuring adherence to security requirements. This role will also interact with many departments within SCJ to understand requirements and deliver business value. You will also manage End-user productivity (EUP)-related projects, platforms, and day-to-day level 3 support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Continuous improvement efforts for Modern Endpoint Management solutions by proposing and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.Collaborate with Service Owner to develop and maintain an understanding of the Modern Endpoint Management ecosystem, including hardware, operating system(s), applications, and security.Ensure compliance with standards and SLAs/XLAs by Managed Service Providers. Serve as a first escalation point for MSPs for issues. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics.Partner with Service Owner to implement and innovate solutions for SCJ application and infrastructure owners. Assist in defining and prioritizing product features.Ensure SCJ standard infrastructure management processes are followed, identify procedural issues, and lead actions to remediate and correct processing as needed (examples: change, work, problem management).Coordinate and manage escalation with vendors and partners for I.E problem resolution as needed.Management of vendors and partners' relationships as necessary.Lead and participate in various projects: strategic and operational initiatives.Document processes and procedures for maintenance and support.Provides 3rd-level operational support for platforms.Required Skills / Experience / Competencies: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related technical disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience with a global enterprise-level service.Experience in Endpoint and Desktop Management space including but not limited to systems design, implementation, and support.Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies: The ideal candidate will have a skill set that includes a wide breadth of infrastructure-related technologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Experienced working with Managed Service ProvidersCommunicate with both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to troubleshoot complex problemsStrong customer service skills, attention to detail, sense of urgencyExcellent interpersonal skills and a "can do" attitude in a team environmentAbility to work with and support a globally dispersed teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills – evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable operational plans and involves others as neededDesign Thinking; User Experience modelingMicrosoft and/or JAMF certifications are a plusJOB REQUIREMENTS Full-time, permanent employmentOnsite work setup; remote work once a week is available upon regularizationOff-hours support and a flexible schedule to accommodate a global team will be requiredThis role is not eligible for relocationBENEFITS AND PERKS You'll have the opportunity to grow your career, develop your skills, and work in an inclusive, family-like environment.
