The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud SysOps Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and implementing architectural solutions to optimize performance and scalability.
Key Accountabilities: Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the Manilla Engineering cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud systems, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure cloud-based applications and services.Collaboration: Work closely with GMS developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud systems.Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud systems, implementing best practices and adhering to regulatory requirements.Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience as a SysOps Engineer or Cloud Architect.Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., ARM, Bicep, and Terraform).Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Proficiency in Azure services and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions).Desired Skills: Experience with cloud architectures and infrastructure.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of network and security best practices in cloud environments.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Behaviours: Focusing on Clients and CustomersWorking as One NCCBeing Inclusive and RespectfulDelivering BrilliantlyWhy NCC Group?
