The Role The Sales Specialist is a key driver of the company's market presence and sales within assigned territories. This role focuses on strategic distributor and key account management, executing trade marketing strategies, and conducting market analyses to support decision-making and strategic sales planning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Distributor and Key Account Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with distributors and key accounts, ensuring they are updated with PD products and innovations.Trade Marketing and Promotions: Execute trade promotions and enhance visibility and sales through effective use of POS materials and promotional support.Market Analysis: Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to gather insights that inform sales strategies and product positioning.Administrative Support: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and market data to ensure alignment with strategic sales goals and manage expenses within budgetary guidelines. Ideal Profile Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.Experience Requirement: Minimum of one year of experience in trade marketing, with a strong background in distributor and key account management, preferably within the electrical or related industries.Competencies:Core: Safety, Teamwork, Customer Focus, Integrity, Continuous Improvement, Sense of Ownership.
Technical & Work Behaviors: Strong communication skills, proficient in MS Office applications, capable of making informed decisions, fundamental knowledge in distributor management and market analysis, diligent and ethical in all customer interactions.
