Position Title: Sales Desk Head
Job Summary: Marketing:Initiates and implements business strategies to increase client base, improve customer service and relations, boost client retention and loyalty, and attain additional business from existing accounts.Approves/verifies regular Desk transactions and decides on day-to-day trading-related matters within his/her limit.Performs regular consultations with Area Heads, Corporate RMs, and Branch Lending Officers on potential clients and accompanies them on joint calls to present appropriate non-traditional Bank products.Complies with internal and external policies affecting the market where he/she trades and conducts work activities with an awareness of the risks and prescribed controls.Administrative:Ensures the prompt and efficient submission of required Desk reports to all units concerned.Approves and oversees the distribution of communications, e-mails, and marketing collaterals to clients.Reviews and accomplishes performance appraisals of Desk personnel and endorses to Department Head.Conducts regular meetings with Investment Specialists and Sales Management Officers to discuss new product offerings, marketing strategies & its implementation, and operational issues that should be resolved and other concerns that could hinder the production of the desk.Visits branches within the area of responsibility as the need arises.Qualifications: With strong background in investment sales, private banking, or wealth management.A Certified Treasury Professional and SEC license holder.With at least 10 years of experience for a Bank as Investment Specialist or Trader.Other Details: Rank: Junior Officer
