Safety Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesConduct Safety Toolbox Meetings to workforce prior to start of every activity;Develop, implement and review safety work plan/Safety Policies and Procedures, providing guidance to team members, and ensuring adherence to OSH standards and Company Rules & Regulations.Prepare/Review reports and documentation on incidents and follow up on the implementation of safety measures;Report safety performance and issues to Management and make recommendations for improvement;Assess and Review Work Permit prior to start of project;Preparation and Processing Job Hazard Analysis/ Risk Assessment and necessary documents prior to start of project;Preparation & Processing of DOLE CHSP Application requirements;Oversee the safety Implementation and Supervision of the assigned construction project;Perform safety inspections and risk assessments to identify issues, non-conformity potential hazards and recommend/implement corrective actions.Work closely with other departments to integrate safety practices into all aspects of operations.Minimum RequirementsPreferably a Licensed Civil Engineer;Certified Safety Officer (preferably SO3) with COSH accreditation;With experience in preparing safety documents;Strong personality, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.Job TypeFull-time
