Job Title: Café / Restaurant Manager
Location: Global Business Tower, 144 N. Domingo, Quezon City
Reports to: General Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Key responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and overall cafe appearance.
Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise cafe staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and adhere to cafe policies and procedures.
Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure that the cafe is always well-stocked.
Financial Management: Handle cash management, monitor daily sales, and ensure that financial transactions (Profit and Loss) are accurate and secure. Assist with budgeting and cost control.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menu items, considering customer preferences and trends.
Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages served meet quality and presentation standards.
Marketing and Promotions: Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies and promotions to attract customers and increase sales.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the cafe complies with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and employee safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in hospitality management.
- Previous experience as a Cafe Manager or similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial management and inventory control (P&L and Inventory Management).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Basic knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
- Passion for coffee and food culture.
- Knowledge on Food Safety, HCCP standards, and Repair & Maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity in restaurant management software and inventory management tool.
- Problem solving and quick decision-making skills.
