The Resident Engineer - Civil | Structural is an integral part of the Construction Management team, responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of civil and structural aspects of construction projects.
This role involves supervising contractors, monitoring project progress, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and contributing to project reports and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Project Oversight, Safety, Quality, and Technical Compliance
- Ensure contractor compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards in civil and structural work.
- Oversee civil and structural construction activities, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and compliance.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in civil and structural aspect.
2.
Project Planning, Coordination, and Cost Control
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for civil and structural work.
- Coordinate civil and structural project activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- Implement control measures to manage the scope, time, and costs of civil and structural work.
3.
Reporting and Documentation
- Contribute to project progress reports, with a focus on civil and structural aspects.
- Maintain construction documentation related to civil and structural aspects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses
- Has an experience in construction project management with a focus on civil and structural work.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, codes, and best practices in civil and structural engineering.
- Proficiency in construction management software, tools, and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management, scheduling, and budgeting.
