The Quantitative Behavioral Scientist conducts research studies and disseminates the findings to improve employee wellness and inform industry standards. As a Quantitative Behavioral Scientist, you will: Conduct secondary research to support existing projects as well as proposals for new bodies of work.Synthesize research findings to identify and recommend best practices.Design and execute E2E research studies to investigate topics related to employee wellness.Prioritize and conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe, and methodology across multiple work streams, making sure to work on the right project at the right time.Manage projects, timelines, and stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth implementation and timely completion of projects.Follow established human subject research guidelines and study protocols to recruit and screen employees for eligibility in study participation.Extract, collect, and aggregate data across databases, information sources, survey responses, and other data sources.Ensure data quality by cleaning and checking for consistency and accuracy.Accurately deploy empirical research methods and conduct appropriate analyses, such as survey research, A/B testing, log analysis, factor analysis, and regression analysis.Develop clear and impactful data visualizations for nontechnical audiences.Prepare and write succinct and easy-to-understand business reports as well as academic manuscripts.Present research findings and communicate key business insights for both internal and external audiences.Collaborate on cross-functional projects, coordinate across departments and geos, and work in a larger team to ensure business impact.Balance the need for quick turnaround with longer-term strategic efforts.Work outside of traditional working hours and travel as needed to collaborate with international stakeholders.Do you have what it takes to become a Quantitative Behavioral Scientist? Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Statistics, Mathematics, Human-Computer Interaction or related field, plus 3 years of experience in an applied research setting.Proficient in at least one of the programming languages commonly used for data manipulation and computational statistics such as Python and R.Expertise in descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics, including t-test, ANOVA, regression, and experimental design.Demonstrated business acumen and basic familiarity with lean and agile methodologies, as well as business/product development cycles.Preferred Qualifications: Master's or PhD degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Statistics, Mathematics, Human-Computer Interaction or related field.Proficient in SQL as well as programming computational and statistical algorithms for large data sets.Demonstrated expertise in at least one quantitative domain such as psychometrics, structural equation modeling, factor analysis, machine learning.2 years of experience conducting cross-functional human subjects research, managing projects, and working in a fast-paced industry setting.About TaskUs: TaskUs is a provider of outsourced digital services and next-generation customer experience to fast-growing technology companies, helping its clients represent, protect and grow their brands.
