BMQ BUILDERS AND SUPPLY CORP. is seeking a talented Purchasing Staff to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a full-time member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing the purchasing and procurement processes that support our construction operations.

What you'll be doing

Liaising with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery, and other contract termsPreparing and processing purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement-related documentationMaintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishmentResearching and identifying new suppliers to expand our vendor networkCollaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to understand purchasing needsEnsuring all purchases comply with company policies and proceduresProviding administrative support to the procurement team as needed
What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the construction industryStrong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliersProficient in using procurement software and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify cost-saving opportunitiesAttention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentA team player with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset
