Job Summary

Responsible for the consistent and reliable availability of materials/service supply while considering the quality, costs, and timeliness of delivery. Attains cost savings through the sourcing of alternative suppliers, development of alternatives, and pricing models of materials/services. Ensures efficiency in procurement processes to include timely issuing purchase orders (PO) and expediting deliveries.


Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree relevant to the job (Supply Chain, Business or Engineering is preferred).
At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply management (food)
Knowledgeable in MS Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Must be organized and systematic.
Good with oral and written communication skills.
Willing to work during weekends, holidays and extend working hours
(if needed).
Willing to work in FTI Taguig City and can start ASAP.


Duties and Responsibilities

Handles the sourcing, selection, evaluation and accreditation of suppliers that provide materials and services as required by the organization.
Conducts negotiations with suppliers regarding prices/delivery schedule of materials/services needed including expanded services options (Just in time (JIT)/vendor rack/payment options/warranty and post sales services)
Ensures the effective implementation of Purchasing cycle (PRS-PO-Delivery) for required services/materials.
Coordinates the timely arrival of the required items, materials and services for operations by the organization based on the approved purchase requisition on the system.
Prepares reports on spend, supply and other procurement issues.
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
