Job Description The Purchasing Manager ensures timely recording, tracking, analyzing, and reporting of all purchasing activities to Management.
Manages and oversees the daily operations of the Purchasing Department.Creates efficient and effective methods for tracking inventory and vendor management.Oversees effective and timely posting of transactions in the procurement system.Conducts audits for the purpose of verifying the accuracy and reliability of vendor data.Assists in analyzing variance and variations from stated purchasing strategies. Requirements Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Must have at least five years (5) Manager level work experience from retail companies and related industries.Extensive Knowledge of General Purchasing or in finance-related work.Technology savvy, must be proficient in using financial and procurement software.Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills.Amenable to work on-site in BGC, Taguig.
