Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for purchasing and inventory, aligned with the company's overall objectives.Analyze market trends and business requirements to forecast future needs and plan accordingly.Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.Supplier Management: Assess and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and delivery performance.Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and oversee their performance.Monitor supplier performance metrics and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Assist in supplier accreditation.Procurement and Inventory Management: Develop procurement strategies and policies to ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing inventory levels and costs.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine material requirements, create purchase orders and track order status.Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand trends and implement inventory control measures to reduce stock-outs and prevent excess inventory.Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, and implement corrective actions.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes and geopolitical factors that may affect the supply chain.Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as dual sourcing, inventory buffering and supplier diversification.Team Management and Development: Foster a collaborative results-driven culture, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelors in Business Administration or related field.With at least 7 years of working experience in the related field.Experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Purchasing Manager.Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and techniques.Possesses effective organizational and team working skills.Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level integrity and excellent negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Computer literate, MS Office and SAP proficient.Amenable to work in Taguig City.
