The Purchasing Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the procurement team by assisting in the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the Estates. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring efficient and effective purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers; maintain relationships with existing vendors.

Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of purchases, supplier agreements, and correspondence.

Price Comparison: Conduct market research to compare prices, quality, and delivery options for products.
Communication: Liaise with vendors to confirm order details, delivery dates, and resolve any issues related to procurement.

Support Team: Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
