Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in the LPG industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, including hands-on expertise with rotating equipment and pipelines within the LPG sector. This role involves managing various aspects of project management, from planning and design through to execution and post-project activities.
Responsibilities: Pre-Project Phase: Site Inspections: Collaborate with the Sales team to conduct detailed site inspections before project initiation. Planning & Design: Develop isometric designs, provide accurate cost estimates, schedule manpower, and create Gantt charts and other essential project management documents. Project Presentation: Prepare and present progress reports for engineering coordination meetings and assist in presenting project plans to senior management, including the President, alongside the Sales team. During Project Installation: Manpower Coordination: Manage the mobilization and demobilization of personnel for project execution. Daily Monitoring: Supervise daily project activities to ensure adherence to schedules and budget. Issue Resolution: Develop and implement HIRAC and other risk assessment plans to proactively address and resolve potential issues. Client & Supplier Coordination: Engage with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project operations within the LPG sector. Post-Project Phase: Documentation Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference. Project Summary: Prepare detailed project close-out reports including project overview, accomplishments, budget vs. expenses, lessons learned, deliverables, and final remarks. Customer/Account Maintenance: Preventive Maintenance: Establish and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for bulk and commercial LPG accounts to ensure ongoing system reliability. System Enhancement: Assess and recommend necessary repairs or enhancements based on client needs within the LPG industry. Additional Services: Promote and suggest additional company services that align with client needs and technical specifications in the LPG sector. Client Support: Address and resolve client complaints and requests promptly and effectively. Additional Responsibilities: Other Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned by management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements. Shared Services: Provide support and services to all company affiliates as part of the shared services team. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management with hands-on experience in rotating equipment and pipelines, specifically within the LPG industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, planning and design, cost estimation, and project scheduling. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve issues efficiently. Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, suppliers, and team members. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and compliance. Client Relations: Proven ability to manage client expectations and needs effectively. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Job Type: Full-time
