Project Engineer This role is for a Licensed Mechanical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in MEP and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting construction drawings, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation. Strong project management, supervisory skills, and knowledge of industry standards are essential. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards, construction practices, QA/QC standards, communicating and reporting standards.Manage project timelines, quality control, and workforce supervision.Identify and mitigate project risks.Communicate progress and delays to the project manager.Prepare documentation and reports.Regularly assess labor and material costs in relation to project progress and milestones.Oversee the overall quality of work execution.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Licensed Mechanical EngineerMinimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a related position.Skills and Competencies: Familiar with construction industry standards, regulations, best practices, and performance standards, specifically in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Heating, Ventilation, and Airconditioning (HVAC) aspects.Computer literate.Able to interpret, understand, and work with construction drawings using AutoCAD and similar software.Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.Familiar in Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, and similar applications.Capable of preparing a quantity take-offs and a detailed cost estimate breakdowns. Advantage: capable of using project management tools such as MS Project, Trello, and similar applications, as well as construction estimation tools like PlanSwift.Willing to accept assignments at various nearby site locations.Strong project management, problem-solving skills, and supervisory skills.Goal-driven and proactive in learning new skills.Learn fast and thrive in an independent work environment.
