The RoleThe Studio Manager is responsible for the overall production planning, execution, and control of the print production team. This role involves working with a talented team consisting of Technical and Creative Artworkers, Designers, and Print Project Managers.
Shift Production planning in close liaison with the Team Leader/Project ManagerLead all implementations within the teamPossess a strong understanding of all activities within the teamEnsure that all jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe and SLAsProvide periodical reports to understand the team's performancePlan capacity to handle spikes in demandInvolved in the recruitment and selection of team staffAppreciate, adhere to, and enforce key policiesDemonstrate a clear understanding of brandsCommunicate with all stakeholders articulately, sharing and documenting any issues or knowledge to ensure consistencyDemonstrate good artwork judgment when giving direction or problem-solvingMonitor and measure the team's performance against KPIs and SLAs and drive resolutionsProvide guidance and coaching to employeesRequirementsFive years management experience in a production setupCompetent in key Creative Suite programs (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)Working knowledge of Microsoft programsStrong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and a flexible, logical, and proactive approach
