The Plant Engineer is the principal member of the O&M services staff and, as such, assists the Plant Supervisor in the operation and service functions of the PV plant delegated to them. The primary responsibility of the Plant Engineer is for the operation and maintenance services, development, execution, inspection, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the work safely, with quality, and within schedule and budget objectives. The Engineer also ensures that all engineering disciplines are met according to customer criteria and scope of work. The Engineer is functionally responsible to the Plant Supervisor.
Responsibilities: Performing daily operation or task management functions as delegated by the Plant Supervisor, including customer liaison, coordination of technical assistance, and preparation of the operation and maintenance planning. Meetings, general PV plant operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision, and coordination. Control, monitor, and report PV plant operation, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance against schedule and plan. Managing operation and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work and quality objectives of the PV plant. Coordinating all technical reviews both with stakeholders and internally within the PV plant. Communications Management. Regularly provides clear reports to management and clients. Effective communication with the operations team, vendor, and third parties. Accurate, timely, and effective reporting to the Plant Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering Must be a Licensed Engineer Preferably with background and experience in Photovoltaic-Solar Farm operations and maintenance Familiar with EPC contract and construction management of large infrastructure or power plants.
