Payroll ProcessingEnsures that payroll are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates with Human Resources and third party payroll service provider, for submission of payroll updates and other pertinent requirements for the local payroll processing.Records payroll entries in the ERP for locations handledPerforms Accounts Reconciliation -- Analyzes and reconciles payroll account balances as assigned.Handles Pension Accounting and ReportingCoordinates employee deductions for labor/credit union and insurance company dues, filing and remittances ofSSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibigand payroll taxes to respective governmental agenciesPerforms and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be assignedDemonstrate we lead expectations as "influencer" (see We Lead Expectation Matrix :http://hr.chevron.com/welead/leadership.aspx)2. Process ImprovementContributes in setting goals with team for continuous cost effectiveness and service quality improvement in enhancing cost efficiency in own work.Participates in special projects as assigned by Team Leader and ensures that project objectives are met.·3. Customer CentricResponds to customer complaints by gathering facts relative to the incident. Determines cause and assesses impact and determines corrective action. Communicates facts and corrective action to concerned parties and implements long-term preventive action to minimize its recurrence.Responds to customer queries in a polite and timely manner, ensuring that the information provided is accurate.·Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingGood oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skillsMust have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environmentEnjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds·Knows how to handle Sensitive Personal Data and abide with Data Privacy LawPreferred Qualifications:Experience in SAP is an advantage, but not requiredThree years work experience·Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
