Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an MST - Aircon Technician at SosaJB Property Management Corp. in Cavite. As an MST - Aircon Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems in our properties. You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall efficiency and performance of the air conditioning systems, responding to service requests, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. A strong attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in this role.

Qualifications
Proven experience as an Aircon Technician or similar role
Aircon Tech or Electronics Technicians: 1 year (Preferred)
Valid MST - Aircon Technician certification is preferred
Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, HVAC technology, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication and customer service skills
High school diploma or equivalent

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITY
1. Installation and Maintenance - responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Follow design specifications, blueprints, and manufacturer instructions to properly install and set up equipment. Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs - diagnose and troubleshoot issues with cooling systems. Identify malfunctions, leaks, or faulty components using diagnostic tools and their technical expertise. They repair or replace defective parts, such as compressors, motors, fans, valves, or refrigerant lines, to restore proper functioning.
3. Refrigerant Handling - Handle refrigerants, which require proper knowledge and adherence to safety regulations. Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of refrigerants, and knowledgeable about the different types of refrigerants and their environmental impact.
4. System Testing and Calibration - conduct tests and calibrations to verify the performance and efficiency of systems. Use gauges, thermometers, pressure meters, and other tools to measure and adjust parameters like temperature, pressure, and airflow.
5. Preventive Maintenance - take daily dispatch from Technical Supervisor or Technical Helpdesk to implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce system downtime and extend the lifespan of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Perform regular inspections, clean coils and filters, lubricate moving parts, and check for leaks. Recommend upgrades or modifications to improve system efficiency.
6. Documentation and Reporting - document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accurate record-keeping. Maintain service logs, equipment history, and other relevant documentation. Generate reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and recommendations for repairs or upgrades and submit to Technical Supervisor or Technical Helpdesk.
7. Customer Service - interact with clients or customers. Provide technical advice, address customer inquiries, and offer recommendations for system upgrades or energy-saving measures. Maintain a professional and customer-oriented approach while working on-site.
8. Compliance and Safety - prioritize compliance with safety standards and regulations related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials. Conduct safety inspections and identify potential risks.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Php 20,000.00 basic pay + Php 2,000.00-night differential
Benefits: with HMO, government benefits and OT pay
Schedule: 8 hours a day/ 6 days a week (Shifting)
Supplemental pay types: 13th month salary
