About the RoleBSA Solutions, Inc. is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality technical support and issue resolution for GPM and other software applications, working closely with clients, support teams, and QA. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Training will be provided for specific tasks, such as creating custom forms and processing data exports.
Responsibilities Client Support: Deliver technical support to clients for software applications, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical assistance to the Support and QA teams for GPM and other software applications. First-Line Support Backup: Serve as a backup for the first-line support team when needed, assisting with customer queries and concerns. Custom Forms Creation: Develop custom forms as requested (training will be provided for this task). Data Exports: Process and deliver data export requests as required (training will be provided for this task). Application Testing: Conduct testing of application changes to ensure functionality and quality, as required. Internal Assistance: Offer technical support and guidance to other team members for internal queries and challenges. Client Interaction: Engage with clients in a professional, friendly, and solution-focused manner. Performance Standards: Consistently meet the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established for the role. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or a related field is required. Educational Background: IT-related qualifications are essential. Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively. Customer Service: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer support, including handling escalated customer issues with professionalism and care. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to influence and communicate effectively across different teams and levels of management. Organisational Skills: Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to adapt under pressure. Helpdesk Experience: Previous experience on a helpdesk is beneficial.
