Job Summary: As a NOC Engineer at Staff4Me, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network systems, diagnosing issues, and providing advanced support to both internal teams and external clients. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality service in the hospitality technology sector.
Key Responsibilities: Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor the network infrastructure for performance issues, outages, and service disruptions. Utilize monitoring tools to ensure optimal network operation and identify anomalies. Incident Management: Respond promptly to alerts and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Perform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues effectively. Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to internal staff and external clients regarding network connectivity and application issues. Escalate incidents to appropriate teams when necessary, ensuring clear communication throughout the process. Documentation: Document all incidents, changes, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Create and maintain knowledge base articles to assist team members and improve support processes. Collaboration: Work closely with network engineers and other technical teams to implement solutions and enhance network performance. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and process improvements. Continuous Improvement: Identify trends in network performance and areas for improvement. Contribute to process optimization initiatives to enhance overall service delivery. Project Participation: Assist in the implementation of new networks and technology upgrades as assigned. 1-2 years of experience in a NOC or network support role. Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
