Main Responsibilities (but not limited to): LeadershipLead with vision, innovation and inspire staff.Be a role model for driving a high-performance, client-focused and collaborative approach, ensuring that the best that the team has to offer is made available to our clients.Drive a culture that fosters high performing teams.Work collaboratively and energetically with all members of the Property & Buildings team.Create productive, long lasting relationships with the business to foster collaboration and accountability.Develop and implement an operational strategy for the team that aligns to the P&B strategy, while also working closely with offshore teams to leverage capability and knowledge.Partner with international Business Leaders.Ensure operational outcomes are achieved, within our governance, ethics and business systems frameworks.Work with the National Building Services Executive team to develop a "one team" culture.In conjunction with the National Building Services Executive team, develop and implement three (3) year strategic plans to include market and people development.Champion the IQBE objectives and work closely with its director to implement its strategic and operational plans.PeopleCreate a truly engaged workforce, where capability is continually matched and developed to our strategy, optimizing resource utilization and creating a culture of collaboration and high-performance.Support and drive development activities to ensure the project teams' skills acquisition (via potential recruitment) and development (via training and on the job mentoring) is maintained to meet market driven growth objectives and related capability requirements is sustainable, with a focus on continuous improvement, technical delivery and risk management procedures.Contribute to the development of the team against strategic goals.Contribute to growth and performance appraisal (Thrives and PDP's) of people within the team.Assist in developing annual remuneration.CommercialResponsible for the performance of the business unit in accordance with our annual budget.Comply with Delegation of Authority (DOA).Assist with Commercial in financial monitoring and forecasting for the Business Unit.Approve expenditure and creditor payments to the limit of our delegation of authority.SHEQLead and foster a good safety culture to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff within the team.Comply with SHEQ obligations.Minimum SHEQ reporting as follows:Observation reporting – 1.2 per full time employee per year.Inspections - 1 per 10 full time employees per year.Project Health Checks – 1 per year for each Building Services Office Manager.Projects and ProposalsHigh level, innovative and strategic contribution to projects.Monitor the implementation of risk management procedures for projects and proposals, and take corrective action as appropriate.Express your interest by clicking on the "Apply Now" Button.
